Deep Fantasy is the third studio album by Vancouver punk band White Lung, released in 2014 and produced by Jesse Gander. Building on the sound of its predecessor Sorry, the album combines the speed and intensity of hardcore punk with melodic hooks and concise songwriting.
Led by Mish Way's vocals and the sharp guitar work of Kenneth William, the album balances aggression with accessibility across tracks such as “Drown with the Monster”, “Face Down”, and “Down It Goes”. While rooted in punk, Deep Fantasy incorporates elements of post punk and alternative rock, giving the record a broader sonic range without sacrificing its urgency.
