Heated Rivalry is the original score composed by Canadian musician Peter Peter for the television series of the same name. Released in 2026 through Milan Records, it marked his first major scoring project for television.
Working primarily with synthesizers, drum machines, and ambient electronic textures, Peter Peter composed much of the music directly to the completed footage. Tracks such as “Rivalry”, “Melt”, and “Inferno” move between restrained techno, icy drones, and slow building rhythmic passages, while “It’s You” is the soundtrack’s only vocal piece.
Developed in close response to the edited series, the score uses recurring electronic motifs and carefully paced arrangements to support its shifts in mood and tension.
