I Want to Disappear is the fifth studio album by American pop punk band The Story So Far, released in 2024 through Pure Noise Records. Produced and engineered by Ben Hirschfield, it was the band's first studio album since Proper Dose in 2018 and their first without longtime bassist Kelen Capener.
The album continues the more melodic direction of Proper Dose while bringing back elements of the band's earlier pop punk sound, balancing heavier guitars and energetic rhythms with more restrained and reflective passages. Ryan Torf contributed additional engineering, while Jon Markson handled mixing and Ted Jensen and Brian Gardner worked on mastering.
"Big Blind" introduced the album in 2023 as the band's first new song in nearly five years and was later rerecorded for the finished record. It was followed by "Letterman" and "All This Time," with I Want to Disappear arriving alongside a video for "Watch You Go."
