Talk Talk Talk is the second studio album by the Psychedelic Furs, released in 1981 on Columbia Records. Building on the darker post punk sound of their debut, the album introduced brighter melodies and a more direct approach without abandoning the band’s layered guitars and saxophone driven arrangements.
Richard Butler’s detached vocals and elliptical lyrics remain central to songs such as “Pretty in Pink”, “Dumb Waiters”, and “All of This and Nothing”. The album balances abrasive textures with a growing pop sensibility, marking an important transition in the band’s early development.
