Flamejob is the sixth studio album by American rock band the Cramps, released in 1994 through The Medicine Label in the United States and Creation Records in the United Kingdom. Produced by Lux Interior and Poison Ivy, the album was recorded and mixed with engineer Earle Mankey at his Psychedelic Shack studio in Thousand Oaks, California. The lineup also features bassist Slim Chance and drummer Harry Drumdini.
The album returns to the Cramps' combination of garage punk, rockabilly, blues, and psychobilly, centred on Poison Ivy's guitar and Lux Interior's vocals. Songs include "Mean Machine," "Ultra Twist," "Let's Get Fucked Up," "Naked Girl Falling Down the Stairs," and "Inside Out and Upside Down (With You)." The record also includes versions of older material such as "Strange Love," "Blues Blues Blues," "Sinners," and "Route 66."
"Ultra Twist" was released as a single and received alternative radio airplay, while the band performed the song during its first national United States television appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
