Good Vibrations is a 1966 single by the Beach Boys, written and produced by Brian Wilson with lyrics by Mike Love. Recorded over several months using an innovative modular approach, the song assembled numerous separately recorded sections into a finished work that pushed far beyond the conventions of contemporary pop music.

Often described as a "pocket symphony", Good Vibrations combines layered vocal harmonies, shifting song structures, unconventional instrumentation, and pioneering studio techniques. Its production was among the most ambitious and expensive of its era, reflecting Wilson's growing interest in using the recording studio as a creative tool rather than simply documenting a performance.

Upon release, the song became an international hit and is widely regarded as one of the most influential recordings in popular music. Its experimental approach helped shape the development of psychedelic pop and progressive pop, while demonstrating new possibilities for songwriting, arrangement, and studio production in the rock era.
