Do Not Dare To Dream is the thirteenth studio album by Scottish band Teenage Fanclub, released in 2026 through Merge Records. The album was recorded at Black Bay Studios on Great Bernera in Scotland and follows Nothing Lasts Forever. Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley again share the songwriting.
The record continues the band's melodic indie rock and power pop style, with acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, Mellotron, and layered vocal harmonies. Songs include "Tomorrow People," "Be With You Tonight," "There Was You," "Over And Over," "Day In The Sun," and "Young And Wise."
The album title comes from Blake's song "I Do Not Dare To Dream." Its lyrics address relationships, ageing, uncertainty, and contemporary life, while the arrangements remain closely tied to the sound Teenage Fanclub has developed across its later albums.
