Even in the Quietest Moments... is the fifth studio album by Supertramp, released in 1977. Recorded primarily at Caribou Ranch in Colorado, the album continues the band's blend of progressive rock, pop, and art rock, while introducing engineer Peter Henderson, who would go on to work with the group on several of its most successful releases.
The album features the hit single “Give a Little Bit”, alongside fan favourites such as “Fool's Overture” and the title track. Balancing melodic songwriting with ambitious arrangements, the record moves between concise pop songs and longer, more expansive compositions that showcase the band's distinctive mix of piano, keyboards, and vocal harmonies.
Even in the Quietest Moments... became Supertramp's first Gold certified album in the United States and helped further establish the band's international profile. It also laid the groundwork for the commercial breakthrough they would achieve two years later with Breakfast in America.
