NEW LP
New sealed copy. Independent record store exclusive limited edition on purple coloured vinyl.
Hempispheres is the fifth studio album by American stoner doom metal band Sleep, released in 2026 through Third Man Records. It is the band's first album with a new lineup featuring vocalist and bassist Al Cisneros, guitarist Bubba Dupree, and drummer Dale Crover, following the departures of Matt Pike and Jason Roeder.
The album continues Sleep's heavy, riff focused approach while drawing strongly from Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi, alongside elements of acid blues and early heavy rock associated with bands such as Cactus, Deep Purple, and Hawkwind. The record was preceded by "Have Spacesuit Will Travel," which was introduced in June 2026 alongside a comic book written by Cisneros and illustrated by Dave Kloc and Arik Roper.
Hempispheres marks the beginning of a new chapter for Sleep while retaining the slow tempos, dense guitar sound, and 1970s heavy rock influences central to the band's music.
