NEW DOUBLE LP
New sealed copy. 2025 remixed reissue.
Vapor Trails Remixed is a 2013 release by Rush, presenting a newly remixed version of the band’s 2002 album Vapor Trails. The original record was Rush’s seventeenth studio album and their first after a five year hiatus following personal tragedies in the life of drummer Neil Peart. When the band reunited in 2001 to write and record new material, the project became both a creative restart and a deeply personal return to music.
Vapor Trails marked a distinctive moment in the band’s catalog, built entirely around guitar, bass, and drums with no keyboards or synthesizers. The album reached the Top 10 in both Canada and the United States and produced singles such as “One Little Victory” and “Secret Touch.” However, the original release became widely known for its extremely loud and compressed mastering, which drew criticism from both fans and the band themselves.
In 2013 the album was fully remixed by producer David Bottrill to address those issues. The new mix restores clarity and dynamic range across the recordings, giving songs like “One Little Victory,” “Ceiling Unlimited,” and “Sweet Miracle” a more balanced and detailed sound. This edition presents the album with the improved mix on double 180 gram vinyl.
