Timeless is a posthumous Prince compilation released in 2026, bringing together nine studio recordings and one live performance spanning nearly four decades of his career. Sequenced chronologically by recording date, the collection moves from the 1977 recording "I Am You" through material from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, concluding with a 2016 performance of "How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore."
Most of the studio material had not previously been released, including "Heaven," "I Wonder," "Stone," "Calabama," "The Guilty Ones," and "Bestest Friend." The set also includes Prince's original 1981 recording of "Tick, Tick, Bang" and his 1991 version of "With This Tear," a song later recorded by Celine Dion. Rather than concentrating on a single album era, Timeless presents recordings drawn from different periods and projects across Prince's career.
The compilation was produced by L. Londell McMillan, Charles F. Spicer Jr., and Chris James, with James also handling the mixing and mastering. It is the second Prince collection after Originals to assemble previously unreleased Vault recordings from multiple eras rather than material connected to one specific album.
