No Strings Attached is the third studio album by NSYNC, released in 2000 through Jive Records. Issued following a lengthy legal dispute that saw the group separate from its former management and record label, the album's title reflects the band's newfound creative and professional independence.
Blending pop with contemporary R&B influences, the album features contributions from a wide range of producers, including Kristian Lundin, Rami, Teddy Riley, Babyface, and members Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. It includes the hit singles “Bye Bye Bye”, “It's Gonna Be Me”, “This I Promise You”, and “I'll Never Stop”, with “Bye Bye Bye” becoming one of the group's signature songs.
No Strings Attached was a major commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with a then record breaking 2.4 million copies sold in its first week. It became the best selling album of 2000 and remains the group's most successful release.
