The Great Divide is Noah Kahan’s fourth studio album and the follow up to Stick Season. Written in Vermont, Nashville and upstate New York, it continues his folk rooted songwriting while expanding its scope. The title track introduced themes of distance, identity and personal reckoning that run through the record.
Released alongside the announcement of The Great Divide Tour, the album arrives after years of sustained momentum for Kahan, following sold out touring and the release of the documentary Noah Kahan: Out of Body. The album retains the introspective writing associated with his earlier work while broadening the arrangements and scale.
The Great Divide extends the trajectory of Stick Season, presenting a new set of songs shaped by the same sense of place and personal detail that has defined Kahan’s work.
