The Wow! Signal is Muse's tenth studio album, released in 2026. Named after the unexplained 1977 radio signal that sparked speculation about extraterrestrial intelligence, the album explores themes of cosmic mystery, discovery, and humanity's place in the universe.
Recorded throughout 2025, the album continues Muse's blend of alternative rock, electronic elements, and expansive production. It features the singles “Unravelling”, “Be with You”, “Cryogen”, “Hexagons”, and “Nightshift Superstar”, with the band unveiling several of the new songs during live performances ahead of the album's release.
Drawing inspiration from science, space, and speculative ideas, The Wow! Signal continues the band's longstanding fascination with futuristic and existential themes while combining arena rock, electronic textures, and cinematic arrangements.
