NEW DOUBLE LP (SIDE D ETCHED)
New sealed copy. Part of the Rhino Records Rocktober 2026 series of reissues.
Filth Pig is the sixth studio album by American industrial metal band Ministry, released in 1996 through Warner Bros. Records. The album marked a significant change from the sound of Psalm 69, with Al Jourgensen deliberately moving away from extensive sampling and electronic elements toward a slower, heavier approach built around guitars, drums, and dense arrangements.
The record is darker and more restrained than much of Ministry's earlier work, with songs emphasizing repetition, weight, and a stripped down production style. Jourgensen rejected material that resembled Psalm 69, resulting in an album that placed greater emphasis on sustained riffs and a more abrasive, depressive tone. It was also the final Ministry album to feature guitarist Mike Scaccia until his return on Houses of the Molé.
Although Filth Pig divided critics and longtime listeners, it became Ministry's highest charting album in the United States.
