NEW LP
New sealed copy. 2026 reissue.
Blurring the Edges is the second studio album by American singer songwriter Meredith Brooks, released in 1997 through Capitol Records. Produced primarily by David Ricketts, with "Bitch" produced by Geza X, the album marked Brooks' return to recording after her time with the Graces and several years away from the music industry.
Brooks co wrote much of the album with Shelly Peiken and played lead guitar throughout. The songs combine alternative rock and pop rock with lyrics dealing with identity, relationships, independence, and personal change. "Bitch" became the album's major breakthrough single, followed by "What Would Happen," "Stop," and "I Need."
Blurring the Edges reached number 22 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum in the United States, Gold in the United Kingdom, and multi Platinum in Canada. It has sold more than three million copies worldwide.
