Songs About Jane is the debut studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. The album was released on June 25, 2002, by Octone and J Records. It became a sleeper hit with the help of five singles that attained chart success, including "Harder to Breathe", "This Love", and "She Will Be Loved".

The album was re-released on October 14, 2003, becoming a huge international commercial success, while garnering a generally positive critical reception. At the end of 2004, the album reached the top-ten of the US Billboard 200 chart. It has sold over 10 million copies worldwide as of 2007.
