Live E.P. is a special release by Led Zeppelin, issued in 2025 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their landmark double album Physical Graffiti (1975). The EP collects select performances of Physical Graffiti tracks recorded during two of the band’s most celebrated concerts: the Earl’s Court shows in London in 1975 and the Knebworth Festival in 1979.
While these live renditions had already been seen and heard as part of the 2003 Led Zeppelin DVD box set, Live E.P. marks the first time they have been made available on audio-only formats, giving fans a dedicated listening experience. The performances highlight Zeppelin at two crucial stages: the sprawling confidence of Earl’s Court at the height of their mid-70s dominance, and the triumphant yet reflective energy of their return at Knebworth four years later.
Released alongside a 50th anniversary edition of Physical Graffiti, Live E.P. offers a companion piece that emphasizes the live power of songs like “Kashmir” and “Trampled Under Foot.” It serves as both a historical document and a reminder of Led Zeppelin’s reputation as one of the greatest live bands in rock history, further deepening the legacy of Physical Graffiti half a century on.
