NEW LP
New sealed copy. 2026 reissue on coloured vinyl.
Sacrament is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God, released in 2006. Produced by Machine, who had also worked on Ashes of the Wake, the album was written following the band's 2005 touring schedule, with the members returning to Richmond, Virginia for several months of intensive writing and preproduction.
The record continues the band's emphasis on tightly structured riffs, aggressive vocals, and complex rhythm playing. Songs including "Redneck," "Pathetic," "Walk with Me in Hell," and "Descending" became central to the album's profile, with "Redneck" receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Lamb of God supported the record with extensive touring alongside Slayer, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Mastodon, and others.
Sacrament debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 and became the top selling heavy metal album of 2006. It was later certified Gold in the United States.
