NEW DOUBLE LP
New sealed copy. 2021 reissue.
Wretch is the first full length album by American rock band Kyuss, released in 1991. The record followed the band's Sons of Kyuss EP and marked the beginning of the group's album catalogue.
Most of Wretch was recorded with bassist Nick Oliveri, who had replaced original bassist Chris Cockrell. "Black Widow" and "Deadly Kiss" were carried over from the earlier Sons of Kyuss sessions with Cockrell, while "Love Has Passed Me By," "Katzenjammer," and "Isolation" were re recorded for the album.
Wretch documents Kyuss at an early stage of the heavy, low tuned desert rock sound the band would continue developing on its later records.
