Blowin' Up is the fourth studio album by Toronto based indie rock band Kiwi Jr., released on August 14, 2026. The ten track record marks the band first release on the independent label K Records and serves as the successor to their 2022 album Chopper.
The album was recorded at High Bias Studios in Detroit with producer Graham Walsh and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes. Musically, the release maintains the band established jangle pop and indie rock style. The songs integrate lyricism focused on daily and systemic anxieties.
The recording features collaborative contributions from several notable figures in the indie rock community. Guest musicians include Joe Casey and Greg Ahee of Protomartyr, Fred Thomas, Stef Chura, Margaux Bouchaudon of En Attendant Ana, and Kerri MacLellan of Alvvays.
