Dressed to Kill is the third studio album by Kiss, released in 1975 through Casablanca Records. Produced by the band with label president Neil Bogart, it was recorded quickly at Electric Lady Studios in New York and remains the shortest studio album in the Kiss catalogue.
The record delivers a compact mix of hard rock, glam, and straightforward rock and roll, with songs including “C’mon and Love Me”, “Rock Bottom”, “She”, and “Rock and Roll All Nite”. The arrangements are lean and direct, reflecting both the limited recording budget and the band’s increasingly focused live sound.
Dressed to Kill reached number 32 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified gold in the United States. “Rock and Roll All Nite” became one of the band’s signature songs, with its live version from Alive! reaching number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 later in 1975.
