Sketches of Brunswick East is a collaborative album by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Mild High Club, released in 2017 through Flightless, ATO Records, and Heavenly Recordings. Recorded in three weeks with Mild High Club's Alex Brettin, it was the third of five albums King Gizzard released that year.
The album combines psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, psychedelic pop, and soft rock, with its title referencing both the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick East and Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain. Much of the material developed from simple voice memo ideas exchanged by Brettin and Stu Mackenzie before being expanded in the studio. Sketches of Brunswick East was nominated for Best Jazz Album at the 2017 ARIA Music Awards.
