12 Bar Bruise is the debut studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released in 2012 through Flightless. Self recorded by the band, the album features the raw garage rock and psychedelic sound of their early material.
Several tracks were made using unconventional recording methods. The title track was recorded through four iPhones placed around a room, with Stu Mackenzie singing into one of them. 12 Bar Bruise later reached number 14 on the ARIA Albums Chart following its 2018 vinyl release.
