Drag is a covers album by Canadian singer songwriter k.d. lang, released in 1997 through Warner Bros. Records. The collection is built around songs connected by references to smoking, with several selections extending the theme to addiction, dependence, and other forms of desire.
The album includes interpretations of "(Theme from) Valley of the Dolls," "Don't Smoke in Bed," "My Old Addiction," "The Joker," and "Hain't It Funny." Its arrangements draw from pop, country, jazz, and cabaret, placing lang's vocals at the centre of restrained instrumental settings. Her version of "(Theme from) Valley of the Dolls" was later used prominently in the television series Nurse Jackie, while "Hain't It Funny" appeared in Pedro Almodóvar's 2002 film Talk to Her.
