The set spans 40 years of his career, blending highlights from his four solo albums—including “Easy Money,” “Armatopia,” and “Somewhere”—with timeless classics from The Smiths like “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?,” and “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.”
The night was made even more memorable by guest appearances. Neil Tennant joined Marr to perform Electronic’s hit “Getting Away With It,” while Marr also delivered a one-off cover of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.” The result is a vivid document of Marr’s enduring influence as one of the most distinctive guitarists and songwriters of his generation.
