Living Under June is the second album by Jann Arden, released in 1994. It became the breakthrough release in her catalogue, driven by a run of Canadian hits including “Could I Be Your Girl,” “Insensitive,” and “Good Mother,” with “Wonderdrug,” “Unloved,” and “Looking for It (Finding Heaven)” also receiving adult contemporary airplay.
“Insensitive” was the album’s biggest international single, reaching the Top 40 in multiple countries and peaking at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The album’s videos were also a major part of its visibility. The “Good Mother” video, directed by Jeth Weinrich, won Video of the Year at the Juno Awards in 1996, and his video for “Insensitive” was nominated the previous year.
