Elk-Lake Serenade is the fourth album by Canadian singer-songwriter Hayden, released in May 2004 on his own Hardwood Records in Canada and through Badman Recording Co. in the United States. It was later issued in the UK by Loose Music and in Australia and New Zealand through Spunk Records.
The album continues Hayden’s understated folk rock and indie sound, built around sparse arrangements and intimate songwriting. Its title references Elk Lake, a small community in Northern Ontario.
