Hank Mobley is an album by American tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley, recorded in 1957 and released by Blue Note the following year. The session features trumpeter Bill Hardman and alto saxophonist Curtis Porter alongside pianist Sonny Clark, bassist Paul Chambers, and drummer Art Taylor.
The album presents Mobley in a sextet setting during a key period in his Blue Note work, with arrangements built around the interaction of the three horn front line and rhythm section. Original pressings, issued as Blue Note 1568, are among the most difficult titles to find in the label's early catalogue and have become highly sought after by collectors.
