NEW LP
New sealed copy. 2025 remastered reissue.
Originally released on May 4, 2010, The Oracle marked a return to Godsmack’s harder-edged roots. Produced by Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Evanescence), the album dials back the blues influences of IV and leans into the stripped-down, aggressive sound that defined their early years. It also became the band’s third consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200.
Written collaboratively by all four members and recorded one track at a time to preserve focus and energy, The Oracle plays like a tight, deliberate reset. “Cryin’ Like a Bitch,” “Love-Hate-Sex-Pain,” and “What If” all landed on rock radio, while the closing instrumental “The Oracle” offered a rare moment of atmosphere and restraint.
It’s a no-frills, guitar-driven record that reminded fans what the band does best—without trying to reinvent the wheel. Over a decade later, The Oracle still holds up as one of the strongest and most consistent releases in the Godsmack catalog.
