Released on April 24, 2026, Location Lost is the seventh studio album from alternative space rock pioneers Failure. Arriving via Failure Records in partnership with Arduous Records and Virgin Music Group, the 9 track, 39 minute record marks the trio first full length project since 2021. The material was written and recorded by the core lineup of Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards, and Kellii Scott following the completion of their 2025 career spanning documentary.
Sonically, the album expands the band traditional identity by prioritizing spacious, atmospheric, and mellow arrangements over the heavy, rhythm driven rock of their earlier catalog. The album features the first ever guest collaboration in Failure history: a delicate vocal duet with Hayley Williams on the track "The Rising Skyline". Grounded by the dark lead single "The Air's on Fire", the record blends intricate production with dense guitar textures to cement the group legacy as modern rock innovators.
