Splat! is the twenty fourth studio album by Deep Purple, released in 2026. Produced by Bob Ezrin, it continues the band’s long running collaboration with him and is their second album with guitarist Simon McBride, following 2024’s =1.
Described by the band as their heaviest album in years, Splat! features the singles “Arrogant Boy”, “Diablo”, and “Guilt Trippin”. The record continues Deep Purple’s later period approach, combining hard rock, blues based riffs, organ driven arrangements, and extended instrumental interplay.
The album received generally favourable reviews, with critics noting its heavier direction and the continued presence of the band’s classic hard rock framework.
