Everyday is the fourth studio album by Dave Matthews Band, released in 2001 through RCA Records. Produced by Glen Ballard, who co-wrote all 12 songs with Dave Matthews, the album followed the abandonment of an earlier set of sessions with longtime producer Steve Lillywhite.
The record marked a shift toward electric guitar, shorter song structures, and more concise pop rock arrangements. “I Did It”, “The Space Between”, and the title track were released as singles, with “The Space Between” becoming the band’s first top 40 hit in the United States.
Everyday debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, also topped the Canadian albums chart, and was later certified triple platinum in the United States.
