Sling is the second studio album by American singer songwriter Clairo, released in 2021 through Fader and Republic Records. Following her debut album Immunity, the record was produced by Clairo with Jack Antonoff and Sam Baker. Much of the album was recorded at Allaire Studios in upstate New York before being completed at Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
The album draws from acoustic folk, folk rock, baroque pop, and chamber pop, with acoustic guitar, piano, strings, and layered vocal arrangements playing prominent roles. Clairo began writing the material in 2020 and produced dozens of demos during the process. Its lyrics address relationships, adulthood, parenthood, mortality, and the pressures that followed her early success. "Blouse," featuring backing vocals from Lorde, was released as the album's lead single.
Sling debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200, becoming Clairo's first album to reach the top 20 in the United States.
