Future Days is the fourth studio album by German group Can, released in 1973 by United Artists Records. It marked a shift in the band’s sound, moving further toward spacious, ambient influenced compositions built around fluid rhythms, layered keyboards, and extended instrumental passages.

Recorded at the band’s Inner Space Studio in Weilerswist during the summer of 1973, the album featured more complex studio production than earlier Can releases. The sessions produced four long form tracks, including “Future Days,” “Spray,” “Moonshake,” and the side long piece “Bel Air.” It was also the final album to feature vocalist Damo Suzuki, who left the group shortly after its release.

Future Days received strong critical response at the time and has since been widely regarded as one of the group’s most distinctive recordings. Its drifting textures, minimal vocals, and emphasis on atmosphere represented a further evolution of the experimental approach Can had been developing since the early 1970s.
