Arirang is the sixth Korean language and tenth overall studio album by BTS, released March 20, 2026. It marks the group’s first studio album since Be (2020) and their first release following the completion of each member’s military service. The album blends hip hop and pop influences, with contributions from producers and writers including Pdogg, Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Kevin Parker, Mike Will Made-It, Artemas, and JPEGMafia.
Named after the traditional Korean folk song, Arirang explores themes of identity, separation, and reconnection while incorporating elements of BTS’s earlier rap-focused sound alongside more melodic and experimental material. The album was supported by the single “Swim” and accompanied by the Arirang World Tour, which began in April 2026.
The album received strong reviews from critics and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming BTS’s seventh US chart-topping album. It also broke several streaming and vinyl sales records in its first week of release.
