Billy Talent II is the second studio album by Billy Talent, released in 2006. Building on the success of the band's debut, the album expands their energetic blend of punk rock, alternative rock, and post hardcore while reflecting a more mature approach to songwriting.
Featuring the singles “Devil in a Midnight Mass”, “Red Flag”, “Fallen Leaves”, “Surrender”, and “This Suffering”, the album explores themes of trust, fractured relationships, social issues, and personal conflict. While retaining the band's signature intensity, the songs place greater emphasis on melody and lyrical depth than their debut.
Billy Talent II debuted at number one on the Canadian Albums Chart and earned the 2007 Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year. It remains one of the band's most successful releases and played a key role in establishing Billy Talent as one of Canada's leading rock bands.
