Cursum Perficio is the twelfth studio album by American thrash metal band Anthrax, released in 2026. Arriving a decade after For All Kings, it marks the longest gap between studio albums in the band's career and is their first since The Greater of Two Evils to retain the same lineup as the preceding record.
Work on the album stretched across several years, with early writing beginning in the late 2010s before recording sessions started in 2023. The band continued revising the material during production, replacing several earlier songs with newer compositions before completing the record. The album was introduced through the singles "It's for the Kids," "The Edge of Perfection," and "Everybody's Got a Plan."
The title Cursum Perficio is a Latin phrase meaning "my journey has come to an end" or "I complete my journey." Although the wording prompted speculation about the band's future, Anthrax clarified that the album was not intended as a final statement. The title instead reflects ideas about longevity and the later stage of the band's career after more than four decades together.
