NEW LP
New sealed copy. 2026 20th anniversary reissue on red and white splatter vinyl.
Crisis is the third studio album by Canadian post hardcore band Alexisonfire, released in 2006 through Distort Entertainment, with Vagrant handling the United States release and Hassle Records issuing it in the United Kingdom. Recorded at Metalworks and Silo Recording Studio, the album was produced by the band with Julius Butty and was the first Alexisonfire record to feature drummer Jordan Hastings.
The album includes "This Could Be Anywhere in the World," "Boiled Frogs," "Rough Hands," and the title track. "Crisis" was inspired by the Great Lakes Blizzard of 1977, which also provided the imagery used for the album artwork. Gared O'Donnell of Planes Mistaken for Stars appears as a guest vocalist on "You Burn First."
Crisis debuted at number one on the Canadian Albums Chart, selling more than 20,000 copies in its first week, and was certified Platinum in Canada in 2007. It became one of Alexisonfire's most commercially successful releases and was later included in Kerrang!'s list of the 50 Greatest Albums of the 21st Century.
