Bigger, Better, Faster, More! is the debut studio album by 4 Non Blondes, released on October 13, 1992. The record introduced the band to a wide international audience during the early 1990s alternative rock boom.
The album’s first single, “Dear Mr. President,” addressed themes of political power and hierarchy, while the follow up single “What’s Up?” became a global hit. “What’s Up?” reached number one in several countries and was certified gold in the United States, driving the album’s commercial success.
Bigger, Better, Faster, More! was certified platinum in the United States, selling approximately 1.5 million copies domestically and an estimated 6 million copies worldwide. It remains closely associated with the early 1990s alternative era and with the band’s brief but highly visible mainstream run.
