What You Don't See is the second studio album by American pop punk band The Story So Far, released in 2013 through Pure Noise Records. Recorded at Panda Studios with producers Sam Pura and Steve Klein of New Found Glory, the album builds on the sound of Under Soil and Dirt with heavier guitars, stronger melodic focus, and more tightly developed song structures.
The band approached the record as a refinement rather than a stylistic departure, keeping the urgency and directness of their debut while giving the arrangements greater depth and precision. Songs such as "Right Here," "The Glass," and "Empty Space" reflect that balance of aggression, melody, and emotionally charged songwriting.
What You Don't See debuted at number 46 on the Billboard 200 and was well received by critics, earning a Metacritic score of 84. It was also placed at number nine on Rock Sound's list of the 50 best albums of 2013.
