NEW DOUBLE LP
New sealed copy. 2025 reissue on 180 gram vinyl.
B'Day is the second studio album by Beyoncé, released in September 2006 through Columbia Records, Music World Entertainment, and Sony Urban Music. Recorded largely in April 2006 after the filming of Dreamgirls, the album was created with producers including Rich Harrison, Rodney Jerkins, Swizz Beatz, the Neptunes, and Stargate. Beyoncé arranged, co wrote, and co produced the material.
Musically, B'Day blends contemporary R&B, hip hop, pop, funk, and soul, with live instrumentation used throughout much of the record. Its themes were partly shaped by Beyoncé's work on Dreamgirls, with songs addressing independence, relationships, and infidelity. The album reached number one in Canada and the United States and won Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards.
