Wiped Out! is the second studio album by American rock band The Neighbourhood, released on October 30, 2015, through Columbia Records. Production was handled primarily by 4e and Justyn Pilbrow, with additional contributions from Benny Blanco and executive production by the band alongside Kirk Harding.
The album marked a commercial step forward for the group, peaking at number 13 on the Billboard 200 and reaching number one on the US Top Alternative Albums chart. It was preceded by the lead single “R.I.P. 2 My Youth,” followed by “Cry Baby.” Although initial reception was mixed, tracks such as “Daddy Issues” later gained renewed attention after going viral on TikTok in 2020.
Written and recorded largely in Malibu and Santa Monica during 2015, Wiped Out! reflects a more subdued and hazy direction than the band’s debut, blending alternative rock with R&B and pop influences. Critics noted its polished, downtempo sound and themes of exhaustion and emotional strain, with reviews ranging from moderate praise for its atmosphere and songwriting to criticism of its pacing and cohesion.
