How Did I Get Here? is the third studio album by English singer songwriter Louis Tomlinson, released on 23 January 2026 through BMG Rights Management. It follows his 2022 album Faith in the Future and presents a more relaxed and optimistic tone in comparison.
The album was developed between 2024 and 2025 and was co produced with Nico Rebscher. Recording took place in England and Los Angeles, with additional inspiration drawn from Tomlinson’s visit to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. He described the project as a lighter and more reflective body of work shaped by personal experiences during that period.
Promotion for the album began in September 2025 with cryptic “Louis’ Lemonade” posters appearing in several cities and the launch of a promotional website. The lead single “Lemonade” was released on 30 September 2025, followed by “Palaces” and “Imposter.” Tomlinson announced plans to support the album with the How Did We Get Here? World Tour in 2026.
