Projector is the second studio album and major label debut by American indie rock band Geese, released in 2021 through Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam. Written and recorded while the members were still in high school, the album was largely made in drummer Max Bassin's basement studio before being uploaded independently to SoundCloud.
After the band attracted label interest, Projector was prepared for wider release with a final mix by Dan Carey and mastering by Bernie Grundman. Musically, the album is rooted in post punk, with angular guitar work, shifting rhythms, and tightly constructed arrangements that reflect the band's early experimental approach.
The album was preceded by the singles "Disco," "Low Era," and "Projector." It received strong critical attention upon release and introduced Geese to a wider international audience through their first major label release.
