Sexistential is the ninth studio album by Robyn, released on March 27, 2026 through Konichiwa Records and Young. Reuniting with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, the album revisits the pulse and immediacy of her Body Talk era while pushing further into a more personal and reflective space.
The record balances club driven production with themes of identity, desire, and self reflection, shaped in part by Robyn’s experiences as a new parent. Tracks like “Dopamine,” “Sexistential,” and “Talk to Me” carry that duality, pairing direct emotional writing with a physical, dance focused sound. The title itself points to that tension, tying together ideas of sensuality and self understanding.
Framed as both a return and a recalibration, Sexistential captures an artist reconnecting with her core instincts while expanding her perspective. It keeps the rhythmic foundation that defined her earlier work, but with a more grounded and introspective tone running through it.
