NEW DOUBLE LP
New sealed copy. 2026 limited edition on silver coloured vinyl. The full continuous mix has been pressed on 2LP silver vinyl and carefully adapted to its groundbreaking technical specifications, while preserving the album's club flow as Madonna originally intended. Gatefold jacket.
Confessions on a Dance Floor is the tenth studio album by Madonna, released on November 9, 2005 by Warner Bros. Records. Moving away from the introspective tone of American Life, the album embraces a full dance floor approach, drawing heavily from disco, electro pop, and club music. Much of the record was developed in collaboration with producer Stuart Price, whose influence helped shape its cohesive, continuous mix style.
Structured like a DJ set, the album flows from track to track without breaks, shifting from bright, euphoric moments into more reflective material as it progresses. It also weaves in clear references to earlier dance music, with nods to artists like ABBA and Donna Summer, while still feeling contemporary for its time.
The album was both a critical and commercial success, widely seen as a return to form. “Hung Up” became one of the biggest hits of Madonna’s career, while the Confessions Tour set new records for a female artist. With strong global sales and a Grammy win for Best Electronic Dance Album, it stands as one of her most successful reinventions.
