Punk in Drublic is the fifth studio album by American punk rock band NOFX, released on July 19, 1994, through Epitaph Records. The title, a play on “Drunk in Public,” reflected the band’s mix of humor and irreverence, while the music captured their most focused and confident work to date.
Produced during the height of California’s punk revival, the album became a benchmark for the skate-punk sound of the 1990s—fast, melodic, and sharp-tongued. Songs such as “Linoleum,” “Don’t Call Me White,” and “The Brews” showcased Fat Mike’s sardonic writing and the band’s precise musicianship, balancing speed and melody with a sense of purpose.
Punk in Drublic was both a commercial and critical success. It reached No. 12 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, was certified gold in the United States, and has since sold over a million copies worldwide. The album’s influence extended well beyond its scene, shaping the sound of later punk acts including Blink-182, Sum 41, and Anti-Flag.
