Hazel Eyes is the fifth studio album by English singer and songwriter Sam Smith, released on August 21, 2026 through Capitol Records. It follows Gloria from 2023 and was developed over more than three years with a small group of collaborators.
Much of the twelve track album took shape in New York, where Smith worked closely with longtime collaborator Simon Aldred and producer David Odlum. Smith also took on a production role, with additional contributions from Feist, Shahzad Ismaily, and Rob Moose. Portions of the record were made at Electric Lady Studios, and its connection to New York reflects Smith's experience of living and working in the city.
Several songs were introduced ahead of the album through Smith's To Be Free residency performances. The album was preceded by the singles "Love Is a Stillness," "To Be Free," "My Guy," "Oh Mother," and "When He's Gone," with "Constant Companion" released alongside the album.
