Punk in Drublic is the fifth studio album by American punk rock band NOFX, released on July 19, 1994, through Epitaph Records. Taking its title from a tongue-in-cheek spoonerism of “Drunk in Public,” the record distilled the band’s mix of blistering speed, biting humor, and sharp melody into their most cohesive and enduring work.

Produced during the height of California’s 1990s punk resurgence, the album defined the era’s skate-punk sound—tight, fast, and tuneful but laced with sarcasm and social commentary. Songs like “Linoleum,” “Don’t Call Me White,” and “The Brews” became staples of the scene, combining Fat Mike’s sardonic lyrics with Eric Melvin and El Hefe’s intertwined guitars and Erik Sandin’s relentless drumming. The result was a record both irreverent and surprisingly precise.

Punk in Drublic remains NOFX’s most successful album, peaking at No. 12 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and later earning gold certification in the United States. It has since sold over a million copies worldwide and continues to influence generations of punk bands, from Blink-182 to Sum 41. Raw, melodic, and defiantly independent, it stands as the definitive statement of NOFX’s punk ethos.
